A visit to the spacious and contemporary Pooles Rock and Cockfighter's Ghost Cellar Door is one of the highlights of a visit to the Hunter Valley. It is located on the historic Post Office Vineyard and is surrounded by the region's oldest shiraz vines dating back to the 1890s which makes their Flagship Poole's Rock Shiraz.

Onsite you will also find the wonderful Hunters Quarter Restaurant.

Stumbled across this place late in the afternoon, Paddy took us on an amazing adventure of wines! Sitting on the outside deck, enjoying the sunset and sharing in our love of wine. We have no hesitations in recommending this place, will definitely go back as Paddy really made it a great experience!

Whilst enjoying a fantastic stay at Audrey Wilkinson accommodation we were recommended to visit Pooles Rock. Four of us arrived without a booking, with 1 year old granddaughter in tow to be greeted by a truly fantastic cellar door team. Tasting of superb wines was tailored to our tastes by knowledgeable staff. Pinot Gris was a firm crowd pleaser. Couldn't complement the team more highly for friendly customer service and first class product.
