Thomas Allen Wines at the beautiful Moon Mountain Vineyard is an iconic location in the Hunter Valley and home to Thomas Allen Wines since 2009.

Producing early ripening, high quality, flavour intense fruit the Moon Mountain Vineyard, planted in 1969, is used in the Thomas Allen flagship wines including the Mango Tree Chardonnay, The Doctor Cabernet Sauvignon, Old School Shiraz Cabernet and Alasdair Shiraz.

The Thomas Allen team share their passion for all things wine with visitors to the Thomas Allen Wines Cellar Door, with the majority of wines sold via the limited and exclusive Club 1733 wine club.

Was recommended by a friend to come here and am SO glad we did.
We didn't have a booking but the gentleman sat us down, and explained their process , their cellar and a little history.
Every wine was delicious - we had 2 whites, 4 reds and the no label (which we ended up buying)
There was no pressure to buy, lots of information and explanation about the wine in a beautiful setting, fireplace and great views.
This winery isn't in the guide we had but we are so glad we stopped in. Wish we came here first on our tour.

Stop in , you won't regret it!

Awesome wine tasting in an awesome venue listening to awesome information from the awesome team. Met Craig who has a fascinating history behind his wine making skills .... gave up boring law to learn wine making from the local founders and in France.

A wonderful vineyard with a beautiful view and great wines
Free wine tasting with a wonderful host. Expensive to leave with a lot of beautiful wines.Joined there club will be happy to receive my deliverys

Thomas Allen is well worth a visit. The hosts are so warm and welcoming, the wines are incredible and the views are stunning. You won't be sorry you visited. The Encore and the Old School are fabulous. Happy Tasting!
