Ben Ean, formally known as Lindeman's Estate, has been acquired by the McGuigan and Peterson families, returning the property to its historical roots of the Hunter Valley.

The McGuigan and Peterson families are dedicated to maintaining and developing the estate as a salute to some of the best-known viticulturists and winemakers of the last 170 years in the Hunter.

The team have been busy bringing the 174 year strong Winery and Vineyard back to its former glory after extensive refurbishment to the Cellar Door, Restaurant, Function, Still House and Winery areas

Wine lovers will be spoilt for choice at the Ben Ean Cellar Door.

The cellar door hosts a range of wines including; Penfolds, Lisa McGuigan Wines, Savannah Estate, Wolf Blass, SOMM and Coldstream Hills.

Generous servings at amazing prices !
We had the lamb shoulder, Nashi pear salad and roast pumpkin.
Finished off dinner with a martini tiramisu.

We ended up taking half of what we ordered to go - not kidding about the generous servings.

Would highly recommend if you're looking for great value feed in the Hunter Valley

Bec was our host when visiting the cellar door. We cannot speak more highly of her. She was friendly, knowledgeable & made the whole experience enjoyable. It was our first stop and one of the ladies purchased TEN bottles, if that doesn't say something I'm not sure what else could. Absolutely add this to your itinerary, we will not hesitate to return the next time we visit the Hunter.
