You have to pay $20 for tasting, and you get a small selection of cheese to enjoy with the wines. It's a nice touch and is a point of difference compared to other wineries. The wines themselves are great and the staff are excellent. The wines actually come from Hunter Valley grapes, unlike other places, where a lot of the wines come from other regions.
However, unlike other wineries they don't waive the tasting fee if you buy some wine. I found this a little disappointing. My message to the winery owners - make it a true 5 star experience and waive the tasting fee if people buy your wines. Having this in addition to your cheese offering would really set you apart from the other wineries in the Hunter Valley.
