In 1985 McLeish Estate Wines was born - a true family affair with Bob and Maryanne McLeish overseeing every aspect of the venture. Having celebrated its 34th Vintage in 2019 McLeish Estate has established itself as one of Australia's most awarded boutique wineries. A visit to McLeish Estate is a must when in the Hunter Valley.

Family owned and operated McLeish Estate Wines produces a range of single vineyard wines that reflect the diversity of regional character of the Hunter Valley region.

McLeish Estate Wines located in the Lower Hunter in the Parish of Pokolbin, Australia's oldest wine growing region, that has produced wine since 1820. The Cellar Door is surrounded by 11 hectares of lush vineyard producing wines that embody all that is wonderful about the fruit of the vine. McLeish Estate has generated many Gold and Trophy Award winning wines including Hunter Valley Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Rose, Dessert wine and blends.

We visited this Estate on a wine tour over the weekend, the service we received here from Alyssa was so superior, it was actually a main highlight of the entire wine tour - a true Wine Connoisseur, who was able to confidently answer all of our groups sincerely interested questions regarding all areas of the wine industry. Absolutely 10/10 service!

The Estate is genuinely Scottish with outstanding wines - we look forward to returning in future.

Dropped into McLeish Estate as part of of our Chateau Elan package.
Premises clean, tidy, we'll set out and great Staff.
Completed our wine tasting experience which was not rushed, very informative with cheese and bickies included.
Had a great time and a very relaxed atmosphere. We did our tasting mid week, as such very quiet and peaceful. ðŸ'

A very nice picturesque venue! Whilst semillon is not my cup of tea it was great to taste and learn about the wines and the process! The staff were kind and catered to us well. This was our second stop on a wine tour and it offered different insights to our first top. Nice

Beautiful grounds, delicious wines and lovely staff.
The estate is dog friendly, as well as having a lovely undercover area outside if you'd like to hang out with some wine and cheese after a tasting.
