Hope Estate is a family-owned and operated working winery, brewery and distillery perfectly located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country. Award-winning craft beer, Estate-grown wine, premium Australian grain spirits and home to Australia's largest purpose-built outdoor winery concert amphitheatre with the biggest concerts going around.

Hope Estate is dedicated to making sensational wines and are firm believers in estate-grown varietal wines. Following this philosophy, Hope Brewery opened early 2014 and kicked off their range with a whole lot of hoppy ales. Since then they've been satisfying a desire for new beers and new styles including NEIPAs, sours, trophy-winning stouts and even Australia's strongest IPA. Mid-2020 saw the inception of Hope Distillery launching with a range of premium Australian grain spirits including Gin, Vodka and Moonshine.

Our recently renovated Cellar Door is open 7 days, 10am - 5pm for wine, beer and spirits tasting. Select from one of our two seated, pre-booked wine tasting options or enjoy a beer tasting paddle from our 22 taps of beer and cider. Also on tasting are the wine ranges from Tower Estate and Virgin Hills.

Hope Estate offers unique spaces for bookings of 2 to 20,000 that are ideal for your next event, including the iconic Great Cask Hall as seen on TV Series "Farmer Wants a Wife".

We did the wine tasting, was very pricey ($20pp for 6 wines) but the service from the staff conducting the tasting was really good. Alice was really enthusiastic, friendly and genuine. We sat outside and liked that she gave us time between each tasting to sit and enjoy it. Nice venue, loved the Margherita Pizza, came out quick. The wines were expensive and nothing was really a stand out for the price, so we didn't end up buying any bottles. 3.5/5

Great venue, with fantastic wine, spirits, and beer. The "Cracker" is a beautiful drop.

I Took my cousin from England there, some of the best sours he has ever tasted. Laid back environment and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Had a fairly big group booking here that turned out amazing. Great choice of spirits, beers, and wines and there was something for everyone. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely be back.

I found factory material in my Limited Edition IPA Beer from Hope Estate - the beer was tasty but it is disgusting to have to pull out some kind of paper/tape from your mouth after drinking a whole beer with it swirling around. The company did respond after a while but didn't really have any answers which is fair enough but people should be aware of this experience because I was especially disappointed that I had spent $166 on a case of IPAs from these guys. Not sure I will buy beer from them again.
