Peterson House is positioned at the gateway to the Pokolbin parish of cellar doors, with sandstone walls and exposed antique timber rafters adding to your experience. You will find a warm and friendly welcome to accompany your tasting experience in a Cellar Door which showcases the largest eclectic range of sparkling wines in the country.

The Cellar Door is open seven days a week from 9am - 5pm offering over 30 varieties of sparkling wine for all tastes and occasions, ranging from the traditional Chardonnay Pinot Noir to the sweeter style of Sparkling Botrytis Semillon, because as they say... life's flat without bubbles!

Within the sandstone walls of Peterson House you will also find the multi-award winning Restaurant Cuve which provides guests a-la-carte breakfast from 8.30am - 11am and lunch from 12pm- 3pm.

We went to Peterson House for lunch for a birthday. We were a large booking with a loud toddler and baby but the staff, in particular Claire we extremely accommodating. The restaurant was very busy and you could see staff were under pressure but Claire was excellent making sure everyone was looked after and I could see her doing this with all bookings not just ours.

To Claire, this was my first outing with my toddler and new baby. I was freaking as all parents do trying to keep my very energetic toddler still but you made me feel as though I wasn't the first person to experience this and that it was ok. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Took an overseas relative for brunch yesterday and I could not fault the experience. From the lovely outlook over the autumn toned ornamental grapevine to the vineyards, the extremely prompt and friendly service in a busy time slot, the excellent coffee and the delicious breakfast that was also delivered to our table in a timely manner. I am recommending to friends and will return myself, Well done!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with family. My parents 56th wedding anniversary.
They loved it so much they are looking to go back asap.
The service is excellent. Attentive yet not imposing.
Food was excellent.
A great Sunday afternoon venue in Hunter Valley.

I have been dining at Peterson's for a number of years. I cannot fault it. The food is superb, the service is friendly and efficient and the whole 'Peterson's' experience is such a pleasure.

On my most recent visit, they went above and beyond customer service when my friend sent her meal back because it wasn't quite hot enough. They offered a free glass of wine and a dessert to compensate. This was not necessary because I know their record is impeccable but it was very much appreciated. Thank you Petersons.

WOW!! What a wedding venue this is. I am a wedding photographer and I can't get enough of Peterson's House! Especially their boutique chocolate shop! ;) Such a great venue for either sunny or wet weddings. Super friendly staff that are willing to please until the day comes to an end. Their new stunning chapel is jaw dropping too. Highly recommend having your ceremony here if you aren't sure where to have your wedding. "Mr Hendrix Photography"
