The team at Oakvale believe great wines are created in the vineyard. Through year round hard work and vigilant hands on viticultural practices they strive to deliver exceptional Estate grown fruit to the winery and only source fruit from the best regional vineyards with the same high standards.

At Oakvale they recognise that winemaking is both an art and a science and that state-of-the-art- technology can work hand in hand with traditional winemaking practices.

They seek to add complexity, richness and finesse to every bottle by adopting innovative winemaking techniques. Having shaped the history of wine in the Hunter Valley for nearly 120 years, they are confident that Oakvale will continue to deserve its place as a leading winery well into the future.

We had the most fantastic tasting experience here with Carrie. She was warm, very knowledgeable about the wines and generous with her time when in the midst of a busy day.
It's the second time we've been to Oakvale, and we'll keep coming back. Our favourite winery in the Hunter by far.

Pick of the wines for me is the Chardonnay and the Bellini. The Apple Cider is to die for. The Cab Shiraz is also beautiful. You can't go wrong here. We can't recommend Oakvale highly enough!

My husband and I had the best cellar door experience at Oakvale thanks to our lovely host, whos name I have forgotten and wished I hadn't! The wines are delicious and the property is lovely. We can't wait to come back.

We spent a lovely afternoon at the cellar door with Jess as our host. She was lovely and knowledgeable. The wine was fantastic. They were also very accommodating to our doggy needs and provided loads of treats and pats for our fluffy guy (he didn't want to leave). Definitely worth a visit.

My partner and I had a really great wine tasting experience here. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable and friendly! Such a beautiful winery, had the chance to see some wildlife before we left too 😀
