Ivanhoe Wines is a premium boutique wine business, located in the heart of Pokolbin. Specialising in handcrafted Hunter Valley wines, they are only available at the cellar door, not in bottle shops. Our team are friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help you find wines that you love.

Boasting a wide range of varieties, we have a wine for everyone. Many of the grapevines are over 50 years old, whilst they produce less in volume, the quality is exceptional.

Owners Stephen and Tracy Drayton take immense pleasure in their work and their love of both people and wine is the driving force behind this boutique business.

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids and had a great wine tasting experience with our advisor Jack. The kids were kept busy with colouring activities while the adults could enjoy the tasting. Jack was knowledgeable and patiently addressed all our questions. He could also suggest wines based on individual taste preferences. He also clicked a few group photos for us and overall made our experience at Ivanhoe great. Even though we were 15 mins late for the appointment we never felt rushed. Thanks Jack and the team at Ivanhoe!

Been a fan of this winery over the last 15 years however recently they have become unaccommodating towards kids and more then 4 people. Went in there as a couple while others had to wait outside even when I spoke to their manager and the place was empty. They now charge $10 per taste and not redeemable on purchase. Great wines but very unaccommodating. Success gone to their head !

This is an absolutely lovely cellar door! The wines were delicious, the architecture and ambience were so beautiful. Everywhere you look there's something artistic to look at. The absolute highlight though was CC! She was a ray of sunshine, made the tasting so fun and was so personable.

I took my fiancè for an afternoon of wine tasting on the Easter Saturday. We were greeted with open arms and made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Lewis was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience one that we won't forget. It was fun, exciting, adventurous and finished with a feeling like we were part of the family while watching the sun set over the majestic vineyards. I would recommend this for anyone looking to escape to the Hunter.
