Not the best brekkie. Corn fritters uncutable and very hard to eat. No fresh options on the menu like fruit salad. Good coffee though.

Great place for a long lunch. Great food and wine list and a puppy friendly terrace. Staff are doing a fantastic job despite the impact of COVID on rosters. Our third visit and we will be back.

Nice vibe, went for a quick breakfast.
Muesli bowl was delicious and different from the usual you find around. Granola on top crunchy and fresh
Cappuccino was smooth the way I like it.

We had breakfast with the most divine coffee we've ever tasted! The food was really delicious. Our only disappointment was that the breakfast was served in bowls and we found it difficult to cut the toast and bacon in the bowl. Otherwise a fantastic place to visit 😊

Brokenwood do great wine and dessert, but that's it.
Booked in for the Saturday twilight on the terrace. Had a 6:30 booking but rocked up earlier with no problem of being seated earlier. Ordered some wine, delicious! Especially with the live music played. Brokenwood have all their best on the menu.
We decided on the pork belly and fish cakes for bar snacks and dinner. The fish cakes were overcooked and rubbery, we didn't finish them. And the pork belly, whilst cooked properly, lacked any flavour in the meat , only including a sauce drizzle on the plate to provide any flavour.
Meanwhile the live musician had started to pack up at about 6:40.
We were almost going to skip dessert but decided to get the pineapple parfait with a glass of dessert wine ( sticky wicket). What an excellent decision. It was so fresh, flavourful and delicious that we didn't have a chance to take a photo of it 😉
Overall an enjoyable night, and walked way with a spare bottle of wine.
