Smidge means 'small' and that is what we are, a specialist hands-on, "berry to bottle" winery producing rare and exclusive small-batch wines of extraordinary quality from our favourite regions.

Our philosophy is simple. Our wines are a reflection of who we are, what we enjoy and the values we hold dear. Respect for those seeking a wine tasting experience beyond a label, showing providence and craftmanship, giving wine lovers something unique, enjoyable and memorable. Respect for our vineyards and fruit, that has been carefully and meticulously grown and respect for things to come; making wine sustainably that we can be proud of today and for the years ahead. As one of only a handful of first-generation wineries with full control from vineyard to bottle, Smidge shares each step, showing Matt Wenk's global experience across California, France & Australia including as chief winemaker at one of Australia's most notable and acclaimed wineries.
