Chalk Hill Wines is a family owned winery dedicated to producing small batch, hand crafted wines of distinction since 1964. Chalk Hill officially opened their doors in 2020 and offer a range of tasting experiences for all to enjoy.

The Harvey family grape growing heritage goes back six generations in South Australia. They have six unique vineyards throughout McLaren Vale, which are purposefully planted with varieties that best reflect varietal and regional character. Chalk Hill is an organic vineyard.

Loved it!!! Ordered pizza's for the kids then tasted wine to see what would taste best with our meal. Jess?!!😬 sorry forgot your name but she was so great. She made us feel soo comfortable and as nth Queenslanders she worked with what our pallet was use to and matched the perfect wine for us. Great place for all!!

Chalk Hill is a fantastic winery, with such a comfortable and chilled atmosphere. The views are simply picturesque. My Fiancèe and I both love the late Friday nights, with great music amazing wine and even better service.
Everyone there are extremely friendly and unbelievably helpful, whether it is a wine tasting, special occasion or even just a relaxing glass ofwine or two, the team always manage to go above and beyond.

Very nice outdoor area, they are known for their pizza and they live up to it. I suggest booking because they almost couldn't accommodate us. Security was a bit mean because our 9 year old was throwing a ball around. Overall picture perfect views. Recommended.

Really enjoyed Chalk Hill. Possibly the best view looking out over the McLaren Vale region, and a great start to our day in the region.
My partner and I came in for a tasting experience with Chris, and it was a refined and well-rehearsed event.
We enjoyed the range, a bunch of very tasty drops - so much so we joined their wine club!
Relaxing out on the yard after our session, the pizzas nearby were great, and well worth hanging back for also to admire the view. A good one all round, well worth booking ahead! It gets busy!

Such a great venue. Beautiful building. The views are stunning. Loved the wine tasting. My fun cocktail was perfect. Delicious pizza. But... from the moment we got out of our car there were wasps. We ignored them. But when our pizza came, about 30 swarmed our food. It is impossible to eat outside. It was pretty scary to have so many on our food. Somehow we managed to get it into take away boxes and leave. The tables inside were all booked and the staff couldn't do anything. They need to call in pest control and deal with this because several other tables around us left too. Would have been the perfect afternoon. We were sad to leave.
