Dowie Doole is a story of two terroirs and time.

Dowie Doole's Estate Vineyards are located in two of McLaren Vale's most sought after and unique terroirs; The Dowie Vineyard, 29 hectares located in the sandy soils of the Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale. The Doole Vineyard, 35 hectares located on the ancient rocks of Tatachilla, McLaren Vale. These terroirs have evolved over time with geology as old as 650M years.

Being a genuine grower producer with all wines estate grown and estate made, we have full control from grape to bottle, ensuring all our wines are vegan friendly. Wines crafted to embody both a sense of place and an optimistic, confident and hospitable Australian spirit. An experience of the best of the Australian lifestyle! Wines to be enjoyed sitting on the beach or by a fire or simply gathered with friends around a table, and that is why they are shared all around the world.

Setting was beautiful, wine was amazing!! Getting the cost of a wine flight off any wine purchase is brilliant!
The deal breaker for our large group? Not offering any beer 😕 It left 2 blokes unable to drink... The wineries we visit also offer beer to cater for ALL guests.

I took the bike out for a lovely Sunday cruise and stumbled across this little beauty of a place. I was captivated by the views as soon as I rode down the dirt track. The tasting room has a real industrial yet modern feel with open set shipping containers overlooking the vineyard. We were greeted by the lovely Beth who convinced us to try the highlights tasting experience. This experience was amazing as Beth explained each wine and guided us through the tasting. All of the wines were amazing, it was the first place where I could not pick a clear winner.

I would highly recommend coming down and trying their wines. Spectacular views and amazing service!
