Visited this place on Easter Sat'day at 12pm...there was one car in the visitor car park so we were pleasantly surprised it was not busy so potentially we could do a wine tasting...we were wrong. My husband went into ask if it was dog friendly only to be told no. He then looked down at the floor and saw a dog walking around? The lady obviously noted how awkward her response was and then asked what breed our dog was - Pug, following which she said it was fine. We walked in (we have two pugs) to a much anxious lady who was obviously distressed with her decision to let us in and made us feel very uncomfortable saying that we weren't allowed to stay in the main room but we're welcome outside although we couldn't so any wine tasting there. I mentioned that is what we were there for only for her to say no because I had a dog. I said 'so it's not dog friendly' to which she replied saying we couldnt do wine tasting as we didn't have a booking. I asked if they had availability, she replied she did but said because I hadn't booked, I couldn't do it?! We were the only people there alongside another couple who were in the middle of wine tasting, so she wasn't run off her feet. She made us feel awful in front of others as if we had had done something wrong. Awfully rude lady...
