De Salis is a family operated winery located at an altitude of 1050m on the northern slope of Mt Canobolas on our, 'Lofty Vineyard' in the cool climate region of Orange NSW. Open 7 days, 11 am - 5 pm for wine tasting and sales. No food is available.
De Salis minimalist winemaking philosophy is born from a desire to capture the seasonal ebb and flow, the intersection of our vines with their microenvironment and create wines that challenge the 'industrial' wine culture.
Their handcrafted wines are produced using the classic French varieties, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Meuniere.
There are 12 venues in Orange NSW. This list shows venues that are in Orange and does not include venues that are in an adjacent town such as 'Orange North'
Had the most wonderful tasting yesterday. Great family business. Great wines - their Pinot is outstanding. I also really loved their Fume Blanc. Thanks team for a great afternoon.

Nice location with the view of the whole valley. Good service but the price of $20 per person was a bit steep. Also the wines were not to our liking. It could be the region itself and the wines they make there.

Fantastic cellar door and tasting experience with a great view of the region.
The team were very knowledgeable and passionate about their wines. Meeting Fort and Knox was an absolute treat as well 🐕🐕
