Nestled in the heart of the McLaren Vale region is Vigna Bottin Wines' Cellar Door and Osteria, it's effectively Italy on your doorstep.

Specialising in Italian varietals, the Bottin family have been growing grapes in the region for three generations, making wine is second nature, and this is showing through in their wines today.

We provide seated wine flights involving a journey through a choice of five wines from the Casa and Cantina selection, alongside a tasting plate. Wine lovers can sample the selection, which includes Versecco (sparkling white), Fiano, Rosato, Sangiovese, Compare's Shiraz, 2016 Shiraz and Paolo's Selection, currently an aged Shiraz Vintage 2013.

New releases that are just around the corner are sure to tempt your palate, include previously sold out Barbera, Nero d'Avola and Vermentino.

Paolo and Maria love to share food and wine with family and friends, the menu from Chef Angelo Trattoria di Roma is designed purely from the heart, a slice of Italy with every plate.
The menu features Italian meatballs (Nonna Teresa's secret recipe), Orecchiette Calabrese, and more, the epitome of Italian homestyle cooking.

Vigna Bottin recently unveiled their Italian Shed Luncheon Experience to provide guests with the ultimate Italian experience where they can sample Vigna Bottin's Vino and sit down for a beautiful meal, whether it be in the shed, courtyard, cellar door or outside, weather permitting.

Just had a lovely lunch here. Everything was great. The food and wine were delicious and the service very friendly and efficient.

Maria and the staff were very friendly and professional.
The food was tasty authentic Italian cuisine, just like nonna makes it.😋😋
The largest room we had overlooked the vineyard and hills in the distance.
They can cater for an intimate meal for two, or like us, a group of 16 and larger. Depending on the season you sit either inside or outside.

Superb. The meals are wholesome & so tasty, made in-house with fresh produce. Delightful aromas wafting through the resturant from the kitchen. Beautiful wines, brief or more formal tasting options available. We tasted a few and bought a glass to enjoy with our lunch. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place, cannot fault the wines. Everyone who I've taken here for a tasting has loved it and leaves with at-least a dozen wines. I am not a white wine lover but I love Vigna Bottin whites. Their food is also delicious, the baked eggplant is a must try. Also situated in the cutest spot.
