You are invited to enjoy a unique, tasting directly with the heartbeat of Aphelion in the tasting room of our welcoming heritage Willunga home.

Straight out of the blocks, Aphelion has gained a strong reputation for quality and value. This has continued since Aphelion was established in 2014 by us, husband and wife team Rob & Louise Mack.

Pedigreed winemaker Rob Mack concentrates on grape varieties that thrive in the Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale, producing stylish Grenache as well as other regionally emerging varieties, such as Mataro and Sagrantino.

We craft our wines to match the Modern Australian cuisine we all love to eat - Italian, Mediterranean, and Asian.

Our aim in the winery is to handcraft using minimal intervention authentic, quality McLaren Vale wines that speak of their provenance while they match perfectly with the food you love, our climate, and your life's best moments.

Highly recommend the "back of the ute" tasting. The opportunity to taste wine, with the wine maker, amongst the vines.... truly unique. Great location, great wine, great host, great experience.

Incredible wines showcasing McLaren Vale. Rob is an absolute hero of the region and produces world-class Grenache. A hidden gem and an up-and-comer for wine fans old and new.

Fantastic little cellar door at the front of this lovely couple's house. You can tell they put their heart and soul into this wine. So knowledgeable and friendly. I learnt a lot and tasted some fantastic wines. I liked them all! Not common on a tasting. Came away with 2 of our favourites. MAKE SURE YOU VISIT!
