Wolf Blass Visitor Centre

Wolf Blass Visitor Centre

97 Sturt Hwy, Nuriootpa SA 5355

Paying homage to Wolf Blass Black Label, the most iconic red blend in the Wolf Blass stable, the Cellar Door showcases the world's only collection of every Black Label vintage since the winery's inception in 1973. The wall is a tribute to the Black Label's unprecedented Jimmy Watson success, Australia's most prestigious and sought after wine award.

Visitors can taste 'Black from the Barrel', two individual components directly from the barrels, alongside the current vintage Black Label Cabernet Shiraz. Adding to the Cellar Door's charm, visitors can marvel over a life size artwork, titled 'Wolfie', oil and acrylic on canvas, 2014, by one of Australia's most recognised artists and fellow South Australian, David Bromley. The painting was created as a celebration of Wolfgang Blass 80th birthday.

Drop in to taste our range of award winning wines, enjoy one of our tailored wine experiences, or simply a barista-made coffee with an assortment of handmade cakes or a cheese plate.

Wolf Blass Visitor Centre had an impressive collection of their Black Label range amongst their other ranges and numerous awards and memorabilia. The place is grand and aesthetic.

My wife and I were served by a lady by the name of Nicole. She was very passionate about wine, the Barossa wine region and what Wolf Blass had to offer. She was fun to talk to and very relaxed. She was an absolute pleasure to have guide use through our wine tasting experience. She also went above and beyond to give us recommendations to other local gems and the best ways to get there.

I would recommend the Wolf Blass experience, many great wines that can only be found here!

This not some much about the place as one of their products.
Yesterday I bought (without looking to closely at the label I must confess) 2 bottles of your Zero Shiraz. It is bloody awful and how you can gush so much about it is beyond me. I buy wine often and will usually buy Wolf Blass just because of the label which I have found in the past to be of reliably consistent good quality.
Zero is little better than grape flavoured lolly water. Coca Cola is better.
This product is besmirching your good name and should be withdrawn immediately. Also give real consideration to the future of the genius who came up with this idea and actually put it to market.
My local BWS told me they had had other feedback about Zero and none of it was good. I'm going to try to return the unopened one tomorrow but without a receipt I think my chances are down the drain which will be closely followed by this product.

Dropped in early Sunday morning and enjoyed a nice selection of whites and tawny port before the crowds arrived. Kiwi lady serving was very helpful and happy to chat. Well worth a visit and modern visitor centre.

Plenty of parking, picnic tables, lots of grass, fantastic selection of wines to taste and buy. Lovely ladies in shop.

4 star all great except for raw steak. Not everyone eats rare meat. Chefs need to understand there catering for public, not themselves. Nice day out.
