The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines.

Today, Kaesler Wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards by the third owners of this magnificent property.

We welcome you to our Barossa Valley Winery and Cellar Door; home of The Old Bastard, Alte Reben Shiraz, The Bogan and our other estate grown premium wines.

Our Cellar Door on The Barossa Valley Way at Nuriootpa is open from 11am to 5pm, seven days a week for tastings and sales. Kaesler also offers vineyard tours and boutique bed and breakfast accommodation.

We visited 3 wineries 🍷 yesterday and it would be hard to pick a favourite from Kaesler wineries and the other one. Hats off to Mary and Hilary for their exceptional service.
The wines are delicious, we are having some delivered home but couldn't resist purchasing a bottle to finish the day off with 😀

Not worth the time. Went there with my friends after a couple of wine tasting prior and the service here was horrible. Cut my friend who barely drinks off for no apparent reason. Kind of ruined the whole day. Avoid if possible. Plenty of other good ones around who welcome your business.

Really beautiful grounds, friendly staff and amazing wine. Would go back in a heartbeat and have recommended to all my Perth friends. Thank you for the awesome experience Sadie. Simply stunning.

Our experience here was amazing, absolutely enjoyed ourselves to the max. Wines were fantastic, grounds are lovely as, but the highlight has to be the lady that led our tasting. Hillary not only answered every question and had us leaving feeling like we'd learned a lot, but was so personable and made the experience so special. Definitely recommend everyone to go here!!

Excellent cellar door, very friendly service. Worth a visit. Expanding soon (early 2022) with a sister winery from Adelaide Hills.
