Skillogalee is a family-owned winery, set amongst wooded hills in the heart of the picturesque Clare Valley. Skillogalee is open daily for cellar door wine tasting and sales, an award-winning winery restaurant and self-contained accommodation.
The Restaurant & Cellar Door are set in an historic settler's cottage, built in 1851 by Cornish miner, John Trestrail. Surrounded by cottage gardens with sweeping views over our picturesque estate vineyards, guests may sample the estate-grown Skillogalee wines or lunch al fresco on the verandah or under the shade of the old olive tree. In winter there are log fires and warm rugs to keep you cosy. The restaurant serves an seasonal à la carte menu featuring selected regional produce in a relaxed atmosphere. Open for lunches, morning & afternoon tea. Dinner functions by appointment.
Bed & Breakfast accommodation included two purpose-built cottages (two and three bedrooms respectively) and a spacious stone Skillogalee House, restored and furnished in contemporary style to provide a high standard of luxury and indulgence, are also available on the estate.

Always a lovely time. Great small tasting area with an open fire, Saffron the giant puppy dog, and a lovely lunch in a nice nature-filled setting.

We booked some 5 weeks ago for a birthday lunch for my wife. Booking was as booked table for 2 on the verandah. Glad we did it was a cold wind and the clear drop blinds were great. Starters we had smoked trout plate then Scollops entree very good. Main course great. Will return when next in Clare.

What a beautiful experience on this late summer's day. An extra table under the old olive tree was laid to accommodate us. The food was wonderful, service attentive and helpful. View gorgeous. Will definitely go again. ðŸ'Œ

It was a fabulous discover for us! A little restaurant hide in the vineyards od clear valley!
We've only had coffees there (that were delicious) but we'll definitely go back to try their foods soon!
