This cozy, interesting and friendly cellar door restaurant is without doubt a hidden gem. Having spent a 2 hour long lunch sampling the wines and numerous dishes, I will be back. There are some strange partners on the plates and the Chef has an imaginative, bold and successful approach to his dishes, all presented with oodles of 'WOW'
I tried to dodge the Sourdough ice cream but was cajoled into trying it by the confident, informed and experienced Maître D. It was the right choice and a stunning culinary experience.
If you're driving by, don't! Make sure you pay this place a visit before it starts getting booked out.

Fantastic wine tasting experience and great wines. It was a seated tasting experience and the wines were explained well. We'd eaten there before but hadn't made a booking this time so ended up having takeaway pizza and wine in the park next door which was actually fantastic - I would recommend if it is a nice day. Lovely staff.

Incredible wines, absolutely delicious food, fun and friendly staff. The Chefs feed me menu was well priced and a delight for the taste buds. Was caught licking the plate but no regrets.

What an amazing place to stop for a meal. We had the wood fired pizza. Delicious.. next time the we'll be taking home some of their wood fired bread loaves. The food, the wine and the beautiful old building. Have to recommend.

Can't believe they are 'only' rated 4.6. With a wheat allergy I've tried many many gluten free pizzas over the years and this was the best base of the lot. Traditional style, great toppings, even the little one was singing about her kids pizza.

Must do if you are in the area. Soaks the wine up well.
