Brand's Laira is an iconic winery, nestled in the heart of the famed "terra rossa" strip of the Coonawarra region in South Australia. Steeped in heritage with a wealth of old vine vineyards dating back to 1893, Brand's Laira offers a range of elegant yet richly flavoured premium wines from this distinct region.

Our winemaking philosophy is simple; we source the best possible fruit and use our unrivalled knowledge of the land and winemaking expertise to create world renowned wines in true Coonawarra style.

The full range of Brand's Laira wines are available for complimentary tasting at the Cellar Door; award winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Riesling, Chardonnay, Rose and a Bordeaux Blend (Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot).

Guests can pre-order a delicious Ploughman's platter for $25pp, which includes a glass of wine. Platters can be enjoyed in Eric Brand's personal cellar, or on our beautiful lawns. Alternatively, we invite you to bring a picnic.

We called into Brand Laira's today for lunch - a delicious bowl of homemade pea & ham soup with a ciabatta roll, plus a scrumptious locally-made pie.
Even though it was rather busy, Martin remained extremely amicable as he handled all the orders, tastings, purchases, questions & queries.
We'll definitely be back, as apart from wonderful food & hospitality, Brand Laira's wines are certainly worth tasting - and drinking!

Excellent service and a fun experience. Tasting plate was superb and wine tasting experience was knowledgeable. Our hostess Maddy knew her wines and made us welcome. A thoroughly delightful luncheon/ wine tasting experience.

Such a fabulous time.
Arrived late in the afternoon and still got the full service. The gorgeous Naomi organised a full wine tasting in the most amazing space, the old cellar with a tasting plate of bread, cheeses and olives.
So informative and such lovely people. What a great way to finish our walk around Coonawarra. Would totally recommend.

One of our favourite cellar doors. We love the expanded hospitality space and that the original tasting room has been preserved. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.... And fabulous products! Our top picks are the Cab Sav and Reisling. This is a must visit.

Wonderful experience & range of wines, beautiful location. Naomi was a very knowledgeable, friendly host. Chardonnay surprisingly good! Reds were tip top as you'd expect.
