Hutton Vale Farm

Hutton Vale Farm

Stone Jar Rd, Angaston SA 5353

Upon European settlement the Angas family took up land in South Australia. John Howard Angas named this section Hutton Vale Farm in 1843 and to this day it remains in the family.

Hutton Vale Farm is a mixed farm with many facets, including grapes, wool and food growing. The philosophy is to run each arm of the business in a sustainable manner while at the same time entwining them together as a whole. Offering award-winning wine, lamb, woolen throws and tailored experiences for guests.

Wine tasting at our cellar door is an exclusive one on one experience, where we can give you as much time as you have. Heritage stone and timber farm buildings allow you to relax at the table, or on the sofa, as we go through each wine sharing the fruits of our labour and a story or two.

All visitors are by appointment only, please phone or email.

Went here with some friends recently for a tasting. The experience was so much more than I expected - in a low slung stone building we sat and enjoyed some truly great wines and enjoyed hearing the history of the farm as it's passed through the generations and the relationship with Henschke winery.
On a winters day it was great to been in a warm space heated by an open fire with the required winery dog in attendance.
Having a little tour of the place was great as well and 2 hours just flew by.
I couldn't help myself when it came to buying some wine and definitely spent more than I would have imagined, but over the years we'll be looking forward to enjoying the wine and remembering the experience

Beautiful countryside to view, amazing produce and delightful customer service. There Shiraz is AMAZING, so to their Riesling! Various priced accommodation, all well maintained, clean and welcoming. There is a runway strip for light aircraft too! Experience, farm life, amazing food, high class service at their new B and B all tucked away on the edge of the amazing Barossa Valley.
