Raise your glass to a palate-pleasing experience at Helm Wines, one of the leading wineries in the Canberra district. Established by Ken and Judith Helm in 1973, Helm Wines is known for producing award-winning Rieslings and Cabernet Sauvignons.

The winery, which has been given a 5 star rating by James Halliday, is a must-visit for all budding and experienced wine connoisseurs.

Helm Wines tasting room is the 1888 Toual Public School House which is listed by the National Trust and was the inspiration for the school bell featured on our label. It was once used for meetings of the Temperance League, where locals signed the pledge against alcohol.

Located approximately 30 kilometres north of Canberra, the rural setting is the perfect backdrop for tasting quality wines and learning about the art of wine making.

A hidden Gem between Sydney and the ACT, drop in to see a snap shot of times gone bye, and taste regional wine that will blow your mind, and expand your pallet. We were tipped to drop past and this will forever be on our places to visit when ever we are road tripping down south. Do yourself a favour (as Molly would say) 😉

Wines are good. A tad expensive. The owner greeted my partner in Chinese, which was weird because she's Filipino. Maybe don't do the Asian greeting thing?

What an intimate cellar door experience. I could have stayed for hours talking to Ken about his wines and heritage.
