Perhaps this place works better if you're after a casual lunch at a winery, but for those just wanting to do wine tastings and buy a few bottles, the cost for a "wine flight" around $17 is incredibly steep. It's standard in the area to pay $5 for a tasting, redeemable with the purchase of a bottle of wine. The amount of wine in the wine flight is little more than a tasting elsewhere as well, so I don't think it's really justified from the perspective of volume. With this format, you also miss out on a guided tasting with added insight and explanation into each of the wines. That said, the Mataro and Shiraz Viognier were excellent, but having to pay so much per person for the flight put us off wanting to buy bottles (which aren't cheap either at around $40, not to say they wouldn't be worth it). Maybe offer a standard tasting as well as the flights?
