DogRidge is a McLaren Vale winery that focuses on producing wines that are an expression of our vineyards, true to local character and terroir. We aim for the best our vineyards can produce to make interesting , friendly wines that are comfortable with food. Our premium range has Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Chardonnay and our more accessible 'Pup' range includes Sparkling Chardonnay, Moscato, Sauvignon Blanc, GSM and Shiraz. They are all lined up and ready for you to taste.

DogRidge Cellar Door is relaxed and intimate and tastings are conducted around a large refectory table. With fresh baked sourdough and olive oil to taste and perk up the palate, our passionate staff will entertain and inform while guiding you through our delicious range of wines. There is an Art Gallery where bird life and nature is captured in intriguing paintings to peer at, ponder and purchase.

Bring a picnic and sit under the trees beside the creek while enjoying the beautiful, natural surroundings and a bottle of DogRidge wine. Family and dog friendly, come for a taste and stay for the afternoon!

Great little intimate cellar door setting, with some cool local art adorning the walls. Good tasting regime which allowed flexibility for personal taste, and a very friendly and affable hostess Dee just rounded off the experience. Also meet some great wine (&dog!) lovers here which just made for a great afternoon. Ohh the wines... they were excellent! The whites and aromatic reds were fresh and lively, the Grenache, Shiraz & Cab Sauv all had 4/5 years on them so they're drinking beautifully now. Do yourself a favour and head out here, Highly recommended.

Loved this place!! Super dog friendly which is the biggest tick for me. We were allowed to bring our dogs indoors to be with us while tasting and we were set up under a lovely warm heater. Dee was the BEST host ever. A real people person who could read the room and knew exactly how to pace our tasting. We met some other lovely people there who Dee helped to encourage interaction between. Really lovely experience! Keep doing an amazing job Dee, loved our arvo with you.

Google map directions are not accurate. Called the cellar and the staff provided directions.
Lovely family owned cellar with friendly staff. Love their Moscato!

An absolutely wonderful experience. Delicious wines and Jen was a particularly welcoming and knowledgeable host. Very dog friendly as well for those wondering.

The cellar door has a beautiful and secluded outdoor area, nicely shaded and surrounded by greenery with a lovely view of the vines.

I can highly recommend Dog Ridge for anyone looking for great wines (red, white, and fortified) without the crowds.

We came in at just before 4pm tonight. We were turned away from several places previously and expected the same from DR.

Jennifer was kind, friendly, approachable and so genuine. She served us olives and water straight away and made sure we got to taste all of the tasty reds (without hesitating like most places usually do) and made sure we were well looked after even though it was the end of the day.

The service there as mentioned above was immaculate but the wines were sooooo good on top of that. We ended up buying several bottles. 10/10 recommended for quality and service. Will definitely be back ❤️
