Schubert Estate is on Roennfeldt Road, Marananga in the Barossa Valley, an area highly regarded for its vineyards. Schubert Estate began in the 1838 when George Johann Christian Schubert and his family migrated from Prussia and settled in the township of Marananga in the Barossa Valley. Grapes have been grown on the property for wine production since 1915.
?The year 2000, with the production of a single barrel of wine saw the first wine released under the Schubert Estate label, the Goose-yard Block Shiraz. Nearly two decades later our portfolio has grown to include a range of premium Shiraz wines and both a dry and a sweet Viognier all grown on our estate vineyard.
We also have a Cellar Door open 9am-5pm weekdays at 26 Kensington Road Rose Park South Australia.
Schubert Estate is proudly South Australian with the greater portion of the production exported overseas. Today, Schubert Estate remains a 5 red star rated winery awarded by James Halliday.
There are 7 venues in Marananga SA. This list shows venues that are in Marananga and does not include venues that are in an adjacent town such as 'Marananga North'
Definitely try the Viognier either dry one or half sweetness one. A beautiful place for relax and easy time with family and friends.

A friend of mine, Andrew - who obviously knows his wines well, presented me with 2 bottles of Schubert wines. The Goose yard Shiraz was great, can't wait to taste the Gander next. Thanks Andrew C.
