Peter Lehmann Wines

Para Rd, Tanunda SA 5352

The Peter Lehmann Wines Cellar Door welcomes guests to our stunning red gum bar to experience some of Australia's most awarded wines.

Our cellar door is situated along Para Road in Tanunda, Barossa on the banks of the Para River. The old stone building and veranda are a lovely setting to enjoy a wine tasting, but it's the surrounding lawns and gardens that make the Cellar Door really special.

The heart of Cellar Door is the old stone winery building dating back to the 1880s. The building has been renovated, with old and new blended seamlessly by stonework, creating a modern centre within a living history of Barossa winemaking.

With manicured gardens surrounding the historic stone Cellar Door, Peter Lehmann Wines is regarded as one of the Barossa's most picturesque destinations.

Think this was bought out by yellowtail. Vast green ground that would be beautiful to sit out in in the warmer months. Big beautiful estate and cool to see a little behind the scenes of where it is made. Wasn't a huge fan of the reds (we tried the premium range and didn't try the whites). Didn't leave with anything and wouldn't go back for the wine but the atmosphere was good. Very "commercial" feel

Peter Lehmann Wines was of of the stops on our wine tour with Taste the Barossa. The cellar door was absolutely amazing. You are met with such beautiful preserved and presented history of the building throughout! The tasting room was beautifully designed. I really enjoyed their Portraits Riesling, so much so bought a bottle to complement the gorgeous platter we had for lunch at Peter Lebmann's. The Future's Shiraz was a nice drop and one try if you like a solid red.

Thanks to Taste the Barossa for including this fantastic winery in out tour. Thanks also to the team at Peter Lehmann Wines for the amazing lunch and wines.

The food was great - we had the sharing platter which was both plentiful and tasty. Our group also got a private dining room which was a lovely touch. The wines were a little disappointing, although to he fair, we're not huge fans of Shiraz. Worth a trip though.
