Moorooroo Park Vineyards

200 Nitschke Rd, Tanunda SA 5352

At Moorooroo Park Vineyards we are the proud custodians of an historic Barossa stone settlement in the beautiful Krondorf region. The 160 year old Silentium Cellar, once the winery and wheat shed of the Nitschke family. With its old stone craftsmanship, exposed wooden beams, and low ceilings, it's an intimate space to unwind and enjoy a taste of our wines.

Our family owned and run winery specialises in a selection of hand-made, organically grown, small batch wines, available exclusively at our cellar door. Our winemaker Wyndham employs his experience as a chef and his obsession with wine to create bold Barossa style reds.

We invite you to join us at our cellar door to explore our range of lovingly crafted wines, enjoy some local cheese, experience our breathtaking David Austen rose garden, or take a stroll across our lawns to the picturesque creek.

Groups in excess of 8 by appointment only.

My wife and I have enjoyed the Moorooroo Park Vineyards red wines for a number of years now and would rate them as the best red wine in the country. Absolutely delicious wines! We were delighted when they opened a cellar door on North Terrace, and it is the perfect experience to enjoy with family and friends. It is truly an experience. We have booked the tasting rooms twice to enjoy an afternoon with our clients, and recently enjoyed one of their wine and food nights. The hospitality and ambiance of North Terrace is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy great food & wine. Highly recommended.

I first came here with my friend a few years ago and have recently rediscovered it. It is now my favourite cellar door in the Barossa! Their Sparkling Shiraz is divine, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic Barossa experience.

Me and my girlfriend went there and only tried 2 sweet wines, we also bought one bottle, the waiter didn't tell us the price to taste before we start to try and directly ask us $20 for just tasting wine.

More like moo-woo-woo! Absolutely smitten with this cellar door, a famil(k)y-run operation serving incredible small batch wines. We were served by Whyndam's (winemaker's) sister-in-law who promptly gave us the recipe for her famous sangria using their incredible grenache. Highly recommend a dram of their 30-year old port after a generous wine tasting.
