Liebichwein is a small family owned winery tucked in the southern ranges of South Australia's famed Barossa Valley. A quintessential Barossa wine experience to surprise and delight visitors.

The Liebich family have been grape growers and winemakers in the Barossa since 1919. Janet and Ron Liebich established their own winery in 1992. Great pride is taken in every aspect of production from choosing which grapes are planted to bottling aged fortified blends that Ron has expertly blended.

Over the years, Ron has built up a reputation for bold fruit-driven red wines, sweet wines and is one of the Valley's best producers of fortified wines. Visitors will often get the chance to meet the winemaker.

Of special interest is the extensive array of varietal fortifieds both in bottles and bulk for further maturation by home barrel owners. Ron is always happy to offer advice on your home blend. Bring your own container or buy one.

Liebichwein is open on Fridays through to Monday, other times by appointment.

Highly recommend buying your bulk port from here. Plenty of varieties in flavour depending on what your keg needs. Ron's blend is the pick for me to add to my keg.
They have the usual whites and reds to taste and buy but I come here for their fortified wines.
Friendly staff, had a couple tasters while filling up the port tub.

Such a cute little cellar door with amazing service. We were able to pick whatever we liked to taste from the range of wine and brandy with Emily who was lovely. Enjoyed them enough to take away 3 bottles and our experience was tipped off by getting a bit of time in with Tigger, the adorable and friendly cellar dog. We will definitely be back.
