Hayes Family Wines is a small-scale, family owned and run wine producer located in Stone Well in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Our multi-generation vineyards have an enviable track record of producing some of the region's finest wines. Our wines are made with thought, using organic (our Estate Vineyard and Winery are Certified Organic and Certified Sustainable), sustainable and traditional low-intervention practices, whilst embracing innovation. We have an uncompromising focus on producing the best wines possible; wines that display fruit purity, balance and ageability. Organic wines are available. Wines are Vegan Friendly.

Winemaker, Andrew Seppelt, draws on generations of knowledge and some 25+ years of personal winemaking experience to craft wines that are sensitive to site, variety and vintage. "Our winemaking approach is very simple, focusing on quality above all else - no shortcuts, no compromise."

Our commitment to the sustainability motivated our involvement in Wildlife for Wines program where we are working towards creating biodiversity within our estate vineyard via native revegetation and creation of habitats for various beneficial fauna species.

We experienced Hayes Family Wines as part of our wine tour and I am so glad we did. The location was stunning and the wines were beautiful. Niki was fantastic as host/cellar door manager. Highly recommend a visit when in the Barossa. Now we can't wait to relive the tastings when our order arrives.

An absolutely great experience, the wines could not be faulted and the tastings were generous. Niki was exceptional and shared her knowledge and love for the wines. I enjoyed it so much I joined their wine club and will be back for a visit in the future. If you love your wine I'd recommend Hayes family wines.

Have been both enjoying and collecting wine for over 45 years and all I can say is that Hayes is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favour and either do a cellar door wine tasting, or just order a few bottles on line. You most certainly will not be disappointed. Simply brilliant wines!!!

What a fabulous cellar door. Niki was exceptional and made the experience even better. We certainly didn't leave empty handed ! Definitely would return to such a lovely vineyard with great people
