Was lucky enough to arrange a trip to this winery which does not accept public visits. Good luck ever arranging a tour here without some serious connections. This brand, arguably makes Australia's best Chardonnay with smaller helpings of Shiraz, Pinot and more recently Nebbiolo. Home to one of the country's most bad-ass solid granite rock cave style cellars (see photos). Natural ferment, barrel blended, high quality fruit and less than 50,000 bottles of production per year. The first official upper Beechworth winery after Brown Brothers in lower Beechworth. Giaconda put serious Chardonnay on the map.
