Tallagandra Hill is a small family-owned winery located in the premium wine producing Canberra District. Noted for its cool climate, the region is perfect for producing premium grapes that have outstanding flavour and perfect natural acidity.

Each Saturday and Sunday, Tallagandra Hill provide tastings of their wines. Throughout the year, husband and wife team, Mary and David, will introduce their new range of wine, lovingly made from only grapes grown on their property.

You'll find award-winning, small parcel, single-vineyard wines made from Shiraz, Tempranillo, Vermentino, Viognier, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon at Tallagandra Hill.

Now you can have a French-inspired lunch, with a tailored wine and cheese experience at their Cellar Door every Saturday and Sunday.

They have designed a special lunch package where you can enjoy three tasting glasses (equivalent to two glasses per person) of their exquisite single vineyard wines with wine tasting notes while grazing on their amazing cheese/charcuterie platters.

We stayed 2 nights at Tallagandra Hill during a week away in the ACT. We started our stay by having a wine tasting and charcuterie platter at the Cellar Door. The passion from both the ladies who hosted the tasting (sorry i forgot your names !) plus the owners Mary and David proved a really fun start to the stay. We then walked up the hill to the Great Ron cottage and loved how modern and homely the accomodation was. With continental brekkie provided the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication from Mary and David was great from booking through to the late check out they provided was great. Highly recommend the stay and the wines to anyone that is looking at visiting the Canberra Wine region. Thanks again for letting us stay in your piece of country paradise !

Thank you to Mary for the lovely lunch platter and wine tasting. Enjoyed the service and knowledge of the different wines by the staff. Bought the wine named after Mary and her mother Eva.

If you are after a wedding venue that is beautiful inside and out, and know that every aspect has been meticulously thought about then Tallagandra Hill Winery is it! Mary and David were the most amazing venue coordinators and have poured all the love they have into building a beautiful event venue. It goes without saying that the wine was amazing as well! Bella's Feast Catering absolutely wowed our guests with all our menu options and everyone has continued to tell us how much they loved our venue, the wine and the food. We are so grateful to have found Tallagandra and will be back again and again!
