Scion wines are delightful, and it was a real privilege to have a tasting with a winemaker who is so passionate about their wines, techniques, and history.

The wine is pleasant enough but be aware they have a very rigid tasting charge. $10 per person which is waived only if you buy 3 bottles each. My 2 friends and I wanted to buy 8 bottles (and they are not cheap) and they still wanted to charge us an extra $10. A bit of flexibility would make for much better customer relations. Unfortunately we left feeling a bit ripped off.

Fantastic cellar door, well designed with great staff to talk through fantastic wines! Highly recommend a visit, we dropped in by chance and had a really great time. Looking forward to returning.

Funky winery with a good tasting selection. Pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Lovely area to sip some wines, both indoor or outdoor. Some excellent wines, $10 tasting fee waived upon purchase, which I most certainly did. 5 minute drive from Rutherglen.
