Mr. Mick Wines, Cellar Door and Kitchen are named after the late K.H. (Mr. Mick) Knappstein, an Australian wine making legend and Tim Adams' mentor and friend. Tim and his wife Pam are proud custodians of the landmark property at 7 Dominic Street, Clare that now bears his name and houses a renowned restaurant, cellar door and gallery.

Tim and winemaker Brett Schutz, continue Mr. Mick's philosophy of making "affordable wines for everyone to enjoy", introducing consumers to new and different varietals as well as crafting fine quality traditional wines.

Mr Mick's Kitchen offers a unique food and wine experience, embracing tapas style dining with an emphasis on fresh seasonal produce and wines by the glass. Come indulge, explore and savour superb food and wine combinations in a casual and contemporary atmosphere. Bookings are essential for groups of 10 or more.

The Kitchen is open for lunch from 12 daily and for dinner on Friday evening.

Best dining experience I've had.
We have several severe food allergies in our family, but Mr Mick's told us "not a problem, we can certainly accommodate."
Online bookings are easy, we phoned to discuss the menu and they were very friendly & helpful.
Beautiful grounds; a warm, sincere welcome. Customer service is superb, but the food... OMG. Sublime. We had the Chef's Selection (6 courses) and it begins with Delicious. Each course more sensational, more pleasurable and stimulating to the palate, culminating in an absolutely sinfully dessert.
We will certainly come again. And again.

Food and service was good. Restaurant is open on Friday's for dinner. We weren't big fans of the wine but they do have a nice setting for wine tastings.

Great food...great friendly staff. A wonderful place and a hidden gem for lunch. The squid, soft shell crab and the beef were highlights amongst everything else. Cannot recommend more. Don't miss out and try this place out... it's a must visit and I will revisit.

Gorgeous outside garden, very dog friendly. We had the feed me menu and the accompanying wines. It isn't quite fine-dining food/wine, but really delicious and varied, and almost unbelievable value for money given the setting. The service was amazing too - such a lovely lady (unfortunately can't remember her name!)

Had the tapas and wine experience. Amazing customer experience and the food was exceptional 😍 cannot complain at all. Highly recommend going!
