Morrisons Winery and Restaurant

Morrisons Winery and Restaurant

123 Merool Rd, Moama NSW 2731

Perched right on the edge of the Murray River, Morrisons is a charming boutique winery with six hectares of vines producing warm-climate sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, moscato, shiraz and sparkling wines.

The large grassed area and playground by the water are perfect for families (bring both the kids and the dog) and you might even be joined by a curious kangaroo or chorus of kookaburras.

Every seat in the restaurant has a view of the river and chef Troy Jarrett celebrates the best regional produce. Settle in for a long lunch or just some tasty snacks to pair with a glass of the winery's finest. 1710 Brew Co is also on site, with a passionate team creating small-batch ales and ciders.

There are often special events and live music performances on the weekends. If you like to arrive in style, take a Wharf to Winery paddlesteamer cruise from the Port of Echuca to the wharf at Morrisons for a stylish two-course lunch with complimentary wine tasting.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Morrison's. The food and service were both first class. Their wines are excellent also. I can very highly recommend this venue for great dining and ambience. Don't forget to say hello to the Kookaburras on the balcony also.

Visited to taste wine and staff were very welcoming. Purchased a couple of bottles and stayed for the great coffee. Great place to visit.

We had the most delicious meal here with friends we have had in a very long time.
All the food was perfectly cooked and well presented, steaks, tiger prawns, sides.
We even managed to fit in dessert to finish off a truly memorable evening.
I am so glad Morrison's is open for dinner on Friday nights for the month of July.
Great job everyone!

I we were on the Murray River on houseboat for a week ,
19 people in total to celebrate my 60th birthday we picked Morrison's winery to have my birthday lunch as this property was where my wife grew up 25 years ago before her parents sold it .

The food was spectacular and very well presented and for a small kitchen that was very busy with group in when we arrive.

A very relaxing atmosphere no rush at all we did some wine tasting with some nice wines and had a walk around the Vineyard to our surprise we saw lots of Wallabies,
All in all a very nice place for lunch .
Just a touch tricky to park the houseboats but we got that sorted out thank you to the staff and especially the chefs highly recommended .

Morrisons offers fine dining with all the views and fresh air you could ever want. The prices are a bit steep in contrast to portion sizes, but the food itself is delicious.

I recommend booking well in advance and request indoor seating. My family and I had lunch on the alfresco, where every person except two of us were seated in the shaded areas - myself and one other were mostly in the sun and I actually started feeling sick due to the heat. This was due to the placement of the tables for our group - I feel this could've been better accommodated.

All in all this is an okay eatery. Expect fine, delicious dining and all the caveats with it - higher price for lesser sized portions.
