Kingsdale Wines is a boutique winery producing high quality cool climate wines at Goulburn on the Southern Tablelands of NSW.
The wines are from grapes grown, hand picked and vintaged at the Kingsdale vineyard and winery. Grapes grown are Shiraz, Merlot, Malbec, Semillon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The Emma Shiraz is extremely popular. It is matured in French Oak and is soft and flavourful, while their Merlot Malbec blend is a plummy, more full bodied style. They have a silver medal winning Rose made from their Shiraz grapes, a range of whites including varietals and blends, and a sweet orange infused liqueur wine.
The winery enjoys beautiful views over Lake Sooley, Goulburn's main water supply. The vineyard location, 700 metres above sea level was selected because of its unique combination of soils and climate, which allows the development of pronounced fruit characters in the wines.
Our favorite wine we've found in the highlands. The Semillon and Merlot/Malbecs were great, the staff were kind and knowledgeable, and the resident Kelpie was such a cutie!

We recently visited Kingsdale winery to celebrate the birthdays of 3 members in our tennis group..
What an amazing place this is with beautiful views..
We enjoyed a lovely BBQ lunch with homemade Sausages .. Steaks.. Beef & Chicken kebabs served with beautiful fresh salads & a delicious homemade beetroot relish.. This was accompanied by award winning wines .. Nothing was a trouble to Bart who took care of our group.. Bart's knowledge of the wines was outstanding..
We are already planning our next social gathering to the Winery..

Amazing views of the surrounding countryside from their verandahs, whether it's relaxing, drinking or eating one of their huge cheese platters. Their wines are fantastic. Looking forward to going back for the third, and many more times!
