Hart of the Barossa is a family owned artisan wine brand, created by vintners Alisa and Michael Hart. Planted in 1902, the Hart block is the oldest certified organic vineyard in the Barossa Valley.

Our passion is to create bold and authentic wine from the purest grapes nature can offer; reflecting the seasons, our sustainable farming and natural winemaking philosophy.

Visit the Tasting Shed for a unique grape to glass wine tasting experience. Built in the early 1900's, the Tasting Shed is located in the midst of our vineyard where our wine is created.

Hart of the Barossa Tasting Shed is open every Friday & Saturday 11 - 4pm or by appointment.

My wife and I recently visited the Hart of the Barossa cellar door. It is a charming, rustic building with a warm fire and lots of atmosphere. Our host, Alyssia (I hope I spelled that correctly) was absolutely wonderful - very friendly, engaging and informative. The wines are all organically produced and were delicious. We have a dozen being posed to us as I write. The owner, Alisa also joined us and showed us around some of the new additions to the property. A fantastic winery that should be on everyone's Barossa-list to visit.

Beautiful little gem. We visited this charming place on Saturday and the decor was enchanting. We had an amazing wine tasting experience by the fireplace and it felt so cosy. Alicia took care of us and she was so delightful, very knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic! We purchased a few bottles as the wine was divine and we had such a great experience that now we are hoping to come back soon to taste their lunch experience which seems to be very special as well ! Definitely a place to visit , you will be amazed :)

By chance we lobbed for tasting on a day when they weren't open. They were getting ready for a long table lunch, but they kindly let us do a tasting.

We're glad they did as the wines were wonderful! The pick of the 14 wineries we visited that week
