Artwine Cellar Door is situated in the Adelaide Hills just over half an hour from Adelaide. Enjoy captivating views and beautiful surrounds. Our Cellar Door is open seven days a week for the ultimate in a new-emerging varieties tasting experience, wine sales and a selection of delicious local produce platters served daily.

Artwine are leaders in new-emerging varieties. Our wines are produced with passion , estate grown, single vineyard, sustainable and vegan.

Our new-emerging varieties include Fiano, Grüner Veltliner, Arneis, Prosecco, Albarińo, Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Graciano, Tempranillo, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Montepulciano, Rosé, Sparkling Montepulciano and a unique fortified Fiano.
New Varieties will be launched from the 2023 vintage.

Family owned by Judy and Glen Kelly with a vineyard in the Clare Valley and one in Woodside in the Adelaide Hills, which houses the cellar door.

An incredible 29 Trophies have been awarded to date and in 2021 included 3 trophies for our old bush vine Grenache, Cabernet Franc and our Tempranillo. In 2018 we achieved the 3 Trophies in one show including the ultimate accolade of The Wine of Show at the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show for our Gruner Veltliner. We were also awarded the Winestate Best White Alternative Wine of the Year for our Fiano in 2018 and again back to back in 2019 for our Grüner Veltliner

As another reviewer has already mentioned, we arrived today to a rather rude and inhospitable greeting from the lady at the front.

After reviewing the "up-there" cellar door prices, we figured "why bother?" - I mean if you don't feel welcome, why would you want to spend money here? Suffice to say, we promptly left.

Definitely won't be back anytime soon. Cheers

Sorry guys but first impressions are everything. You weren't that busy and the person greeting us had a don't care attitude that was extremely off putting. Several other reviewers have said the same thing so it's not just me.

Instead of being defensive and blaming extenuating factors, take ownership as you're only hurting your own business. There are 1001 wineries in the Hills so people are spoiled for choice. If it's an unwelcoming arrival, there is no incentive to come back. Cheers

Excellent situation - surrounded by beautiful countryside. Exquisite food- home grown, home made, pleasantly presented with great attention. Fascinating art works attractively displayed and in every view.
Wonderful experience, thoroughly enjoyed. Look forward to subsequent visits- perfect venue for a special lunch, treating visitors, or simply chilling out! Have recommended it in every conversation! 😁

My husband and I were introduced to ArtWine by our local friends. It was a fantastic place to enjoy great wine! We ordered their wine tasting experience, with some dips and cheese platter. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone looking for great South Australian wine with beautiful views over the vineyard.

The wine was really enjoyable. However the lady behind the bar was quite rude the whole time even when we were the only group there. Will not be returning.
